You can sign up for membership HERE!
The cost to join PPEA is $55 per year per family. Memberships are valid for 12 months and provides you and your children access to a private and secure website complete with a family directory, a calendar of private PPEA hosted events and field trips, private Facebook page for all members; private Facebook page for current seniors, member directory forum and message board/discussioon forum, discounted pricing on events that are open to the public, discounted membership at FPEA.
Participation in activities isn’t required, but we encourage you to join as many as possible. Like traditional schools, our events are designed to build connections and create meaningful, fun experiences together. Over time, your students will graduate alongside familiar faces—not strangers.
We are intentionally building a strong, supportive community where both parents and students can form lasting friendships. Taking time to get to know one another is an important part of that. We understand that schedules are busy, and we appreciate any effort you make to be involved.
Member events are scheduled monthly from August through May. Beach and park days are scheduled throughout the summer months, June - July. PPEA may add extra events throughout the year with as much notice as possible. Be sure to check our events page for what we have available.
There are no additional costs for required events or activities, including beach days, park meetups, and some game nights. PPEA also organizes optional gatherings for students that may involve a fee; however, we work hard to keep costs as low as possible by securing group rates and special discounts. Any fees will always be clearly shared when the event is announced.
Yes! Our nonprofit, fully volunteer-run homeschool program is growing – and so is the need for compassionate, committed volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of local homeschool families. Whether you're a parent, retired educator, college student, or simply someone who loves helping others, there's a place for you here. Absolutely—we love when members bring ideas and get involved!
You’re welcome to help plan and organize an event or field trip, and PPEA admins are also happy to assist with creating and promoting it. Our goal is to offer a variety of activities that reflect what our community is excited about, so your input is incredibly valuable.
Planning events does take time and teamwork, and we encourage everyone to participate in whatever way they can. Our community grows stronger and more meaningful through shared involvement, and we truly appreciate your willingness to contribute!
