The Pinellas Parent Educators Association was founded in 1985 by a small group of parents who believed that families should have the freedom — and the support — to educate their children at home. Forty years later, that vision is still alive and growing.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers — parents who are in the same season of life as you, who understand the joys and the hard days of homeschooling, and who show up year after year because they believe in this community.

Our families come from Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Largo, Seminole, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, and everywhere in between. We are one of the most geographically diverse homeschool communities in the Tampa Bay area — united not by where we live, but by a shared commitment to our children.
